Olympic Peninsula Community Museum

Olympic Peninsula Travel Association (OPTA) is a supporter of The Olympic Peninsula Community Museum, a project of community organizations and tribes from the Olympic Peninsula and the University of Washington. Supporters of the project include the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Preston, Gates and Ellis, LLP, now K&L Gates.

Olympic Peninsula Travel Association (OPTA) especially supports the museum's Evergreen Playground, a retro look at the promotion of tourism over the years on the Olympic Peninsula. OPTA started in 1932 under the name Olympic Peninsula Resort and Hotel Association (OPRHA) to promote the businesses and communities of the region.
