Sequim
Sequim, known as "Sunny Sequim," is a retirement community with a population of 4,000
located on Highway 101, 35 miles northwest of the Hood Canal Floating Bridge. Spread out between the
northern foothills of the Olympic Mountain's and the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Sequim enjoys a mild and dry
climate.
There are a number of fine motels and restaurants in and around Sequim.The
Great House Motel 1-877-683-7272, and Sequim West Inn are on Washington Street
(City Hwy 101) with close access to restaurants and services.
To the east of Sequim is Sequim Bay and to the north is the Dungeness area.The foothills of the
Olympic Mountains are to the south.
SEQUIM BAY
Sequim Bay State Park, a few miles east of Sequim along Highway 101,offers camping, trailer hookups,
boat launching, moorage, group kitchens,tennis courts and a beautiful view of Sequim Bay. There is a
marina near the park.
There is an animal farm north of Sequim. Drive by and look through the fence for free.

Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of CommerceVisitor Information Center on the east side of town.
