Port Ludlow - "A Village in the Woods by the Bay"

Greater Port Ludlow Welcomes You to "Stay and Play"

Port Ludlow is a recreational and residential community on the Olympic Peninsula at the west end of the Hood Canal bridge. Founded by Andrew J. Pope and Captain William C. Talbot in the mid 1800's, the town has a rich history as a mill town and center for boat building.

The town is built up around the shores of Ludlow Bay with beautiful views across Hood Canal, Admiralty Inlet and Puget Sound.

The New Port Ludlow, the 750-acre planned residential community, was awarded the 1992 "Project of the Year" honor by being chosen the "Best Residential Community For Active Adults in the United States" by the National Association of Home Builders. Port Ludlow's famous golf course, resort and planned community are located approximately six miles north of the Hood Canal Bridge. Boaters search out its protected harbor and marina.

Golfers are challenged by Port Ludlow's world-class golf course, especially since the opening of its new "Trail nine" in early 1993, making a total of 27 beautiful holes. Designed by Robert Muir Graves, the famous golf course has been recognized by Golf Week as the Best Public Golf Course in Washington.

Come to this ideal place to relax, enjoy boating, fishing and beach combing, and take advantage of the quality of life that we experience on the Olympic Peninsula.

For developed recreational activities, the Port Ludlow Resort and Conference Center provides first class overnight and conference facilities, a full service marina, championship 27 hole golf course, tennis courts, walking trails and recreation centers. The planned community has a large variety of building lots, custom homes, and condominiums.

In the greater Port Ludlow area from Oak Bay to Shine we have waterfront cottages, estates and large parcels, located along the waterways and view hillsides. Boat ramps, marinas and county parks are also located along the waterfront.

Port Ludlow, 6 miles NW of the Hood Canal bridge, has a business community providing banking, a post office, and a variety of food & professional services.

For accommodations on Ludlow Bay, stay at Port Ludlow Resort and dine in the Harbormaster Restaurant. Voted "best residential community in the USA for active adults" by the American Home Builders Association, Port Ludlow is a popular retirement choice. The marina, secluded harbor and access to Puget Sound make Port Ludlow a preferred choice for boaters.
