Olympia
Olympia, the capital of Washington State, has blossomed into a
shoppingmecca with a revitalization of downtown and the marina areas of
CapitolLake. Rose gardens surround the government buildings which include the
Templeof Justice, Governor's Mansion and the night-lighted Capitol

Immediately south of Olympia is a special sidetrip at Tumwater
FallsPark, site of the first American settlement north of the Columbia
River,wich displays a monument to mark the end of the Oregon Trail. The
TumwaterHistorical Museum, in the park, is open in the summer
11:30AM-3:30PMMon-Fri and 1:00-5:00PM Sat and Sun. While in Olympia stay at the
TyeeHotel.
The new Little Creek Casino is justoff Highway 101 a few miles west
of Olympia near Shelton. The casino offersa variety of games and fine dining.
