Nestled on the western shore of Puget Sound, Kingston the "Little City By The Sea" boasts a
myriad of delights. Kingston has often been referred to as a "Baby Sausalito waiting to happen"
with its accessibility to Seattle and the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas. It has maintained the charm of a
small town yet offers the amenities to residents and tourists of many restaurants, gift shops, realtors, a
driving range, florists and
much more.
Built in 1889, the historic Kingston Hotel Cafe serves breakfast lunch and dinner Tuesday thru
Saturday and offers catering for weddings and other special occasions. Well know for locally grown
organic vegetables and locally raised organic meats, whenever possible. Menu items integrate the old and
new, north and south, east and west into delicious creative meals. Live music on Saturday. At the
Goldsmith's Shop upstairs you may see the artist at work.
On the northernmost point of the Kitsap Peninsula is the Hansville Recreation Area, popular for
salmon fishing.
